Launch CubexSoft NSF Export Software from start menu or by double clicking the Shortcut icon of NSF Export from Desktop.
After launching, software will check the basic prerequisites and will display a Lotus Notes version installed in the machine as shown below , Click on OK-

Click on "Select File" button on the tool-bar to add Lotus Notes Database file (NSF file)
Software will then display a Source File Selection box with multiple option to add the NSF File for conversion as shown below -
Choose between Select File(s)/Select Folder option and then use the appropriate button like Browse or Add Files to load Lotus Notes NSF files for migration.
After adding NSF Files, click on Next option to continue.
After recursive scanning of NSF File , software will provide an advanced preview of Lotus Notes NSF Files -
In the smart preview, you can check Email Preview & Save Attachment. If you click on the desired folder, all its file list will show quickly on the right software pane. Just select the email, which you want to view and all its data will display in the Preview section. You can use Save Attachments option to save the attached file or attachments separately in other folder
From the Export Box, select or exclude folders for Selective Conversion of Lotus Notes Mailbox Items/Folders -
Then after selecting the folders/items, to migrate NSF files to Exchange Server, you need to select Exchange Server as Export type from the list as shown below -
After selecting the options, click on Next >> button.
After clicking the Next button, software will display "Export to Exchange Server" box as shown below:
Enter the Exchnage Server Details - Please enter the Server Name or IP Address of the On-premise Exchnage Server -
Note - For Hosted Exchange Server you can use Proxy Server Name
If you want to login as Administrator, select the Use Admin Credential option. Fill in Admin user ID and Password to login as Global Administrator

After filling all the details of Exchange Server, click on Next button
To migrate Lotus Notes mailboxes to On-premise Exchange Server or Hosted Exchnage Server, enter the User ID and passwords of the Office 365 or Outlook.com accounts along with each selected NSF file path. This step is important for mapping the Lotus Notes mailboxes(NSF files) with target Exchange Server user accounts.
Software will start validating the mailboxes details (SMTP Address and the password), once validated will show a green tick.
After login and mapping the NSF files with Exchange Server Mailboxes/accounts, click on Next button
Once you click the Next button, Software will display a following box -
Advanced options for saving the final output varies with every saving format provided in the software. The advanced options that are available with the software for Lotus Notes to Exchange Server are as following -
After choosing the desired options, Click on Export button to continue
The software will then start the actual process of Lotus Notes to Exchange Server Migration as per users selection and will display the progress status as shown below -
The software provides detailed view of progress status that includes Full path of the selected NSF, no. of items getting converted, time taken for each NSF file.
Once the whole conversion is finished, a pop-up window will appear showing the message like Conversion is Done. Then, press on the OK button to accomplish the process.
Save the complete Lotus Notes to Exchange Server Migration Report - After the conversion, the software will highlight two options - OK and Save Report.
By clicking on Save Report, you can save the complete conversion report of Lotus Notes NSF file in CSV format. The software will successfully create CSV file including complete migration details of NSF Files on your local system. So, you can view CSV Report in MS Excel.
