Reasons for this Error
You’ll see this error if the Cached Exchange mode’s “Mail to retain offline” option is set to a value other than “All.” The “Mail to keep offline” option is sometimes referred to as “Download email for the past” in various versions of Outlook.
Items older than 12 months, for instance, will be stored on the server and won’t be downloaded to your local cache if this value is set to 12. Because of this, you can’t access those files until you reconnect to the internet and synchronize with the server once more. These older emails and items cannot be accessed in offline mode.

How to Fix this Problem?

Turn on online mode.

Modify the settings

- Look for a DWORD named “SyncWindowSetting” in the right pane.
- Make the value 0 instead.
