CubexSoft Kerio Export Tool : Know How it Works!

Follow this step-by-step guide for CubexSoft Kerio Converter.

Kerio Export Tool to batch migrate Kerio multiple user mailboxes to Various Technical File Formats and WebMail Accounts.

STEP 1

Launch Kerio Export Tool to export Kerio mailboxes to different popular file formats and cloud-based services.

Type CubexSoft Kerio Export on the Search bar appearing on Task Bar and then select CubexSoft Kerio Export

Now add Kerio files or folders on software panel using Select Files or Select Folder buttons.

If you are having multiple Kerio users for conversion, then tick the checkbox "I am converting Multiple Users..."

After selecting Kerio files/Folder, verify its store location and click on Next.

The software will show all the components of selected Kerio folder, in a tree structure.

Select the folders/items that you want to convert to another file format or cloud applications and click on Next.

Software provides multiple output options for saving Kerio mailboxes to

Technical File Formats : PST, EML, MSG, EMLx, MHT, HTML, XPS, RTF, TXT, DOC, DOCx, MBOX, PDF, CSV, ICS, vCard

Email Client : Windows Live Mail, Thunderbird

Cloud Services : Office 365, Outlook.com, Gmail, GSuite, Yahoo, Exchange Server, Hosted Exchange Server, Webmail, IMAP Server

Choose the right format as per your needs as shown below-

Choosing PST, Office 365, Outlook.com, Exchange Server and Hosted Exchange Server will offer you some advance options for desired migration as shown below:

Item Filters feature include user account mailbox items such as Emails, Contacts, Calendars, Tasks and Notes. You can choose the desired item and transfer its database into required file type or cloud server.

Besides PST, the other cloud-supported apps give the facility of Copy to Default Folders using which you can migrate Kerio mailboxes in already existing folders of the cloud accounts.

If you choose PDF, you will get - Advanced PDF options, Attachments options, File Naming Options and PDF Page Settings options:

  • Save All emails in Single PDF : Select this option to save all Kerio emails in a single PDF document. Leaving it blank will create separate PDF file for each Kerio message.

Attachment Option - In this option, the software provides multiple options to save Attachments in PDF

  • Embed Attachments to PDF
  • Extract Attachments separately
  • Convert Attachments to PDF

File Naming Options will allow to save resultant file according to desired naming convention for easy accessibility after migration process. It includes Subject+Date, From+Subject+Date, Date+From+Subject, From+Date etc.

If you choose document or text file types such as TXT, DOC, DOCx, MHT, HTML, XPS, and RTF, you will get the options:

Extract Attachments in a Separate Folder- Allows to extract email files attachments in a different folder and save it in a single place.

File Naming Options will allow to save resultant file according to desired naming convention for easy accessibility after migration process. It includes Subject+Date, From+Subject+Date, Date+From+Subject, From+Date etc.

If you want to save Kerio emails in a single email file formats such as MSG, EML and EMLx then you will get File Naming Options to save resultant file at desired location for ease of access after export process.

Choosing MBOX format will give you the following options:

Select the saving location if you are saving your Kerio mailboxess in File formats. (By default, it is set as Desktop.)

And if you are saving Kerio folders to cloud based services or any different email server, you just need to enter the login credentials and select other options to connect to the respective options.

The Kerio Converter software is a complete tool that also provides advanced filters for conversion process.

  • Date Range Filter - User can select date range to save emails only the selected date range
  • Subject Filters - Users can filter the final saving by saving the emails that contains specfic words and phrases.
  • TO, FROM Fields Filters - Users can choose specific to and from addresses to save gmail emails
  • Exclude Folders - Users can name specific folders that they want to exlude from conversion.

Choose the appropriate filter option from the following options -

Once you selected all desired options and filters, click the Convert button as shown below-

The software will now start the Kerio conversion process.

After completion you will get a Dialog box saying “Conversion is Completed”. Click on OK to finish the process.

After successful conversion, software will open the Log Report in TXT file as shown below -
