STEP 1

Launch Yahoo Mail Backup Tool to backup and move Yahoo Mail mailboxes to different webmail accounts or particular file formats

STEP 2

For Yahoo Mail backup, select the option of Yahoo Mail from the list of email sources appearing on the left software screen

Proceed by entering the desired login details of Yahoo Mail

After selecting Yahoo Mail as a source, login form screen will appear at right pane of the software. Enter the details of the same in Email Address and Password from which you want to archive or transfer the data.

For successful process make sure that IMAP and Less Secured app is enabled. Know More

STEP 4

When logged in successfully, software will quickly start to load all the Yahoo Mail folders, sub-folders in folder list which will be displayed on the left screen of the software.

All the folders, sub-folders will appear in the same structure as shown -

Once the entire list of folders get loaded, software will show the backup options on the screen.

The software offers multiple saving output options to save emails and other data of Yahoo Mail

  • File Formats - PST, PDF, EML, EMLx, MSG, MBOX, HTML and MHTML

Select the required format according to need as shown:

STEP 6

Choose the destination path to save Yahoo Mail mailboxes in a particular file format.

And if you are exporting data to another cloud app, then you just need to enter the login credentials to connect to respective options.

Software will provide the default path or you can also choose the desired saving location by clicking the Browse button when transferring mails of Yahoo Mail folders to specific format –

STEP 7

Export Process

After software finish the process, a dialogue box will display showing the message of “Conversion is Completed”. Click OK and proceed.

When the process completes, software will open the log report of the process done in TXT as shown –

After entire completion with the saving process, view resultant files by navigating to the saving path or directly visiting the destination source that was selected earlier to save the file.
